R-32 is the next-generation refrigerant of R-22 and R-410A. R-32 is a single component gas that eliminates concerns for glide. It is also a key ingredient in R-410A and other HFC blends. R-32 has no ozone depleting potential and has 66% lower global warming potential (GWP 675) compared to R-410A (GWP 2,088). It also has 15% higher cooling capacity compared to R-410A. Users should only use R-32 in equipment designed specifically for R-32. A2L cylinders from Weitron are authorized to be transported horizontally under DOT-SP21513.
