Gray Flex's models #FC is a U.L.181 approved Class 1 Connector material. It is constructed of multiple laminations of aluminum foil and polyester film, encapsulating a galvanized steel wire helix, which forms an air tight duct. Gray's foil connector is ideal in duct runs in areas where insulated flexible duct is not required. It is a low cost connector alternative for supply, return and venting of air. It should only be used for venting of air within the limits of the performance data. Gray's foil connector is ideally suited for use as a dryer vent hose due to its fire resistent property. When used as a connector in HVAC systems, codes require that the length not exceed 14'. This product is not intended for outdoor use.
